Motodays 2015 – Big Wipes goes Biking in Rome

At the beginning of March, our Italian Distributor, 3M, took Big Wipes to Motodays 2015.  This is the annual Motorbike and Scooter Show held over a long weekend in Fiera, Rome.

Motodays 2015

During the four days the show attracted a whopping 145 100 passionate visitors.  They flocked in from the early hours of the morning, to the point that the exhibition was forced to open the show even earlier on Sunday morning.

What could you see at Motodays Motocycle and Scooter Fair 2015?

Motodays 2015 was an opportunity for visitors to see and experience new products and developments in the motorcycle and two-wheeler market.

Thousands of enthusiasts filled not only every free corridor between the stands, but also crowded outdoor areas for shows and special events.  More importantly, they could climb (and be photographed) on all the bikes and scooters on exhibition.  Some exhibitors even allowed visitors to test new motorcycle models and scooters on a 30, 000 square meter track dedicated to this purpose. As well as the actual bikes themselves, there were also many brands of clothing, bike accessories & extras and special parts on display.  Of course, Big Wipes fitted right in, as bikers need a portable cleaning solution when they are on the move.

The Big Wipes stand attracted the usual attention and not only because of the beautiful Big Wipes personnel.  Punters were left staring in disbelief when we showed them how quickly and effectively Big Wipes removed engine oil, grease, silicone and other grime.  In addition to cleaning oily grimy hands, Big Wipes can also be used for cleaning the bike after use.

Word from the Organiser Fiera Roma

Fiera Roma first opened in 2006.  Since then, it has become one of the largest and most acclaimed exhibition centres in Europe.  “We are pleased with the seventh edition of Motodays”, stated director of Fiera Roma, Mauro Mannocchi.  ” It is an event that now characterises not only the Fiera di Roma but the entire city.  Above all,  this year we had important positive feedback from visitors from all over Italy.”

“There was also a strong emphasis on safety, a theme that has constantly been at the centre of Motodays’ focus.  To this end, the Traffic Police held regular education safety sessions and conferences.  At these gatherings motorbike riders could also talk about motorcycles and share their experiences.  Furthermore, Dainese, the manufacturer of bike PPE, organised daily potentially life-saving airbag demonstrations.”

“All the main market leaders were present, showing how strong and committed the industry is.  In short,  Motodays is increasingly becoming an event that lights up the two-wheeled motor sector”, Mauro concluded.
