Heating Installer Awards Deadline
With only a few days to go until the deadline, time is quickly running out to enter this year’s Heating Installer Awards. About the Heating Installer Awards
Now in its fourth year, the industry famous Heating Installer Awards was established to celebrate the achievements and raise the credibility of plumbers and heating installers, who deliver top quality work and excellent customer service on a daily basis, showcasing the superstars of the industry who often go unnoticed.
The plumbing and heating industry is perceived by many as dogged by ‘cowboy’ tradesmen. However, those working in the sector know this couldn’t be further from the truth. Every day, thousands of installers across the country work to provide tailored, modern and energy-efficient heating solutions for customers. These improve the quality of life, drive down energy costs and create warm homes for UK families.
The aim of the awards is to raise standards even higher, unveiling the true ambassadors of the world’s greatest heating and plumbing industry. In this, they are supported by renowned organisations from across the heating industry and media partnered with Installer.
Official Judging
Once entries close, an expert panel of judges made up of industry professionals, will meet in March and decide the 11 regional finalists. The judges’ scores for the finalists will then be carried forward to the next round. This, for the first time, will also include a peer-reviewed, response-to-scenario technical challenge set by last year’s champion Shaun Scott. The finalists’ scores, together with a public vote and judges’ scores, will decide the national winner. The lucky winner will be announced on 8th May at Installer2019, where Shaun will hand over his title.
